Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) An authority called the Queensland Building Services Authority is established.
(2) The authority--
(a) is a body corporate; and
(b) has a seal; and
(c) may sue and be sued in its corporate name.
(3) The authority has, for or in connection with the performance of its functions, all the powers of a natural person, and may, for example--
(a) enter into contracts; and
(b) acquire, hold and dispose of property; and
(c) appoint agents and attorneys; and
(d) engage consultants; and
(e) make charges for services provided by it.
