Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated ActsThe Clerk and each officer of or employee in the parliamentary service who is in receipt of salary or wages (otherwise than upon a contract basis) is an employee and the Speaker is his or her employer within the meaning of the Industrial Relations Act 1999 and the provisions of that Act apply in relation to the Clerk, that officer or employee and to the Speaker accordingly.
