Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) If an officer of the public service becomes an officer of the parliamentary service, the officer is entitled to retain all existing and accruing rights as if the service as an officer of the parliamentary service were a continuation of the service as an officer of the public service.
(2) Where a person ceases to be an officer of the parliamentary service and becomes an officer of the public service, the service as an officer of the parliamentary service shall be regarded as service of a like nature in the public service for the purpose of determining the person's rights as an officer of the public service.
