(1) A person may apply to the archivist for access to a public record in the
custody of the archives.
(2) The application must be accompanied by the fee
prescribed under a regulation.
(3) For subsection (1) , a public record is
taken to be in the custody of the archives if the record is the subject of a
direction by the archivist under section 10(2) .
