464 Powers for enforcing forensic procedure order
(1) For enforcing a
forensic procedure order, a police officer has the following powers—
(a)
power to detain the relevant person for a reasonable time and take the person
to a place with appropriate facilities and persons for performing the relevant
forensic procedure;
(b) power to direct the relevant person—
(i) to attend
at a stated place on a stated day or between stated hours, within 7 days after
the direction is given to the person to enable the relevant forensic procedure
to be performed; and
(ii) to stay at the place for the time reasonably
necessary to enable the relevant procedure to be performed.
(2) Subsection
(1) (a) applies whether or not the relevant person is given a direction under
subsection (1) (b) .
