PARLIAMENT OF QUEENSLAND ACT 2001 - SECT 10
10 Assembly may proceed to business although not more than 5 members have not been elected
Following a general election, the Assembly may proceed to the transaction of
business at the time appointed by the Governor for the purpose even though in
not more than 5 of the electoral districts a member has not been elected.
