PLACE NAMES ACT 1994 - SECT 7

(1) The Minister may--

(a) give a name to a place; or

(b) change the approved name of a place; or

(c) discontinue the use of the approved name of a place.

(2) The exercise of a power by the Minister is subject to the following sections--

&149; section 8 (Development of place name proposal)

&149; section 9 (Notice of place name proposal)

&149; section 11 (Decision about proposal).
