PROPERTY LAW ACT 1974 - SECT 279
Purpose of sdiv 1279 Purpose of sdiv 1
(1) The purpose of this subdivision is to help persons ascertain their existing rights in property of de facto partners.
(2) This purpose is achieved by allowing a court to declare the title or rights of parties to a proceeding in property of de facto partners.
