Definitions for pt 14206 Definitions for pt 14
In this part—
"disposition" includes the conferring or exercise of a power of appointment or
any other power or authority to dispose of an interest in or a right over
property and any other disposition of an interest in or right over property.
"instrument" includes a will, and also includes an instrument, testamentary or
otherwise, exercising a power of appointment whether general or special but
does not include an Act.
"power of appointment" includes any discretionary power to transfer or grant
or create a beneficial interest in property without the furnishing of valuable
consideration.
