166 Change of tenancy not to affect right to compensation

A tenant who has remained on his or her holding during a change or changes of tenancy shall not afterwards, on quitting his or her holding at the determination of a tenancy, be deprived of the tenant’s right to compensation in respect of improvements merely because such improvements were made by the tenant during a former tenancy or tenancies, and not during the tenancy at the determination of which the tenant is quitting.
