When a doctor must notify
70 When a doctor must notify
(1) A doctor must, under subsection (2) , notify the chief executive if an
examination of a person by the doctor indicates that the person— (a) has or
had a clinical diagnosis notifiable condition; or
(b) has or had a
provisional diagnosis notifiable condition.
Penalty— Maximum
penalty—20 penalty units.
(2) The notice must— (a) comply with the
requirements prescribed under a regulation; and
(b) be in the approved form.
(3) Subsection (1) does not apply if the examination was carried out in a
hospital.
