Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) The board must consider an accepted application and either renew or refuse to renew the registration as soon as practicable after the last of the following events to happen--
(a) the board receives the application;
(b) the board receives all necessary information to decide the application.
(2) In deciding the application, the board must have regard to--
(a) whether the board considers the applicant is fit to practise as a registered professional engineer; and
(b) the extent, if any, to which the applicant has satisfied the continuing registration requirements.
(3) In considering whether an applicant is fit to practise as a registered professional engineer, the board may have regard to the same matters to which the board may have regard in deciding whether an applicant for registration is fit to practise as a registered professional engineer.
(4) In this section--
accepted application means an application made under section 18(2) or an application the board accepts under section 18(4).
