PENALTIES AND SENTENCES ACT 1992 - SECT 54
54 If offender not before court written notice of right to apply for fine option order to be given
If the offender is not before the court when the court makes an original order
for the offender, the court must cause written notice to be given to the
offender informing the offender of his or her right to apply for a fine option
order.
