Notifications following making of order
136 Notifications following making of order
(1) A court that makes a community based order, or makes an order amending or
revoking a community based order, must make it in the approved form and must
cause a copy of the order to be given to—
(a) the offender; and
(b) the
person in charge of an institution in which the order requires the offender to
reside; and
(c) the chief executive (corrective services), together with
details of the offence in relation to which the order was made.
(2) If an
offender is required or permitted by a community based order to reside in
another State or a Territory, the chief executive (corrective services) must
cause—
(a) a copy of the order; and
(b) other relevant documents and
information;
to be forwarded to the proper authority in that State or
Territory.
