823 Who may appeal or apply for external review
(1) A person who is given,
or is entitled to be given, a QCAT information notice for an internal review
decision may apply, as provided under the QCAT Act , to QCAT for an external
review of the decision.
(2) A person who is given, or is entitled to be
given, an information notice about seizure or forfeiture of a thing, may
appeal against the internal review decision to the District Court (the
"appeal body" ).
(3) A person whose interests are affected by a decision
identified in schedule 1 , table 2, may appeal against the decision to the
court (also the
"appeal body" ) that the schedule states for the decision.
(4) A person whose
interests are affected by a decision identified in schedule 1 , table 3, may
appeal against the decision to the court (also
"the appeal body" ) that the schedule states for the decision.
(5) For
subsections (3) and (4) , a person who has been given, or is entitled to be
given, an information notice about a decision is taken to be a person whose
interests are affected by the decision.
