Power to fix competency required under measurement scheme
638 Power to fix competency required under measurement scheme
(1) This
section applies if the chief executive believes an activity under a
measurement scheme for a meter should be performed only by a person with a
particular competency.
(2) The chief executive may, by notice to the
controller of the relevant meter, require the task be performed only by a
person with the competency.
(3) On the giving of the notice, the controller
must ensure—
(a) the task is performed only by a person with the competency;
and
(b) the scheme is amended to incorporate the requirement.
