(b) petroleum in a natural underground reservoir in the State,
other than petroleum in the reservoir produced outside the State and injected
or reinjected into the reservoir.
(3) To remove any doubt, it is declared
that—
(a) a person does not acquire any property in petroleum merely because
the person discovers petroleum in a natural underground reservoir; and
(b)
subsection (2) (a) applies whether or not the land is freehold or other land;
and
(c) subsection (2) (b) applies whether or not the natural underground
reservoir is in or under freehold or other land.
(4) This section applies
despite any other Act, grant, title or other document in force from the
commencement of this section.
