Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) On the appointment of a person holding office under this Act as a public service officer, the person's service in the ombudsman office under this Act must be regarded as service as a public service officer.
(2) Subsection (1) does not apply to the ombudsman or acting ombudsman if the person is guilty of misconduct in office as ombudsman or acting ombudsman.
