Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) If a person is required to give information under this division, whether or not through answering questions, the ombudsman may--
(a) require the information to be given on oath; and
(b) administer the required oath.
(2) The oath to be taken by a person for this section is an oath that the information the person will give will be true.
(3) A person required to give information on oath must not refuse to be sworn.
Maximum penalty for subsection (3)--100 penalty units.
