Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) This section applies if, without reasonable excuse, a person fails to comply with an investigation requirement.
(2) A Magistrates Court, at the request of the ombudsman, may issue a subpoena requiring the attendance of the person before the ombudsman.
(3) The Uniform Civil Procedure Rules 1999, other than rules 417, 418 and 420, apply to the subpoena.

(4) In this section--
subpoena means--
(a) a subpoena for production; or
(b) a subpoena to give evidence; or
(c) a subpoena for production and to give evidence.
