Conditions of protected area authority
(1) This section applies if, on or after the commencement of this section, a
protected area authority becomes, under this Act, subject to an
offset condition.
(2) To the extent the offset condition is inconsistent with
a deemed condition, the deemed condition prevails. Note— See the
Environmental Offsets Act 2014 , section 5 (3) . Under that provision,
particular imposed conditions prevail over deemed conditions.
(3) In this
section—
"deemed condition" see the Environmental Offsets Act 2014 , schedule 2 .
"offset condition" see section 66 (1) .
"protected area authority" see section 66 (5) .
