Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) If an area has been included in the World Heritage List established and kept under the World Heritage Convention, the Minister may, by advertisement published in a newspaper circulating throughout the State, propose that the whole or part of the area be declared a World Heritage management area.
(2) The advertisement must--
(a) describe the lands to be included in the proposed area; and
(b) specify the proposed management of the area; and
(c) invite submissions from affected land-holders, interested groups and persons and members of the public; and
(d) specify a day by which submissions are to be made to the Minister.
