Chief executive may make codes of practice
174A Chief executive may make codes of practice
(1) The chief executive may, by gazette notice, approve or make codes of
practice for— (a) protected areas; or
(b) forest reserves under part 4A ;
or
(c) protected wildlife.
(2) The Statutory Instruments Act 1992 ,
sections 49 , 50 and 51 apply to a code of practice as if it were subordinate
legislation.
(3) The chief executive must keep copies of each code of
practice open for public inspection during office hours on business days at—
(a) the department’s head office; and
(b) each regional office of the
department; and
(c) other places the chief executive considers appropriate.
