Authorised doctor’s responsibilities for treatment and care
202 Authorised doctor’s responsibilities for treatment and care
(1) An
authorised doctor must ensure the treatment and care to be provided to the
patient is, and continues to be, appropriate for the patient’s treatment and
care needs and in compliance with the requirements of this Act.
(2) The
authorised doctor must record in the patient’s health records the treatment
and care planned to be provided, and that is provided, to the patient.
