MOTOR ACCIDENT INSURANCE ACT 1994 - SECT 65

65 Industry deed
(1) A licensed insurer is bound by the industry deed.
(2) The industry deed
may—
(a) require licensed insurers to make disclosures and reports to the
commission in accordance with stipulated standards and requirements; and
(b)
deal with the apportionment of liability, and the sharing of costs, between
licensed insurers (including the Nominal Defendant); and
(ba) provide for the
appointment of a person to arbitrate disputes between 2 or more insurers about
a claim; and
(c) provide for the sharing of information between insurers to
the mutual benefit of insurers; and
(d) regulate the management of claims
under CTP insurance policies; and
(e) provide direction and guidance for
licensed insurers about initiating, managing, monitoring, and measuring the
effectiveness of, the provision of rehabilitation services for injured
claimants; and
(f) regulate in any other way the conduct of insurance
business under the statutory insurance scheme.
