Magistrate appointed as Chief Magistrate
10 Magistrate appointed as Chief Magistrate
(1) This section applies if a magistrate is appointed as Chief Magistrate.
(2) The Chief Magistrate holds office as Chief Magistrate while the Chief
Magistrate is a magistrate.
(3) With the approval of the Governor in Council,
the Chief Magistrate may resign office as Chief Magistrate but remain a
magistrate.
