Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) Subject to section 52, the building authority must ensure a declared pest fence built by it is kept in a condition that stops the movement of the relevant pest animal from 1 side of the fence to the other.
(2) To comply with subsection (1), the building authority may--
(a) clear the fence line of vegetation or other obstruction to a distance of no more than 20m either side of the fence; and
(b) enter onto another person's land to clear the fence line or inspect or maintain the fence.
