LEGAL PROFESSION ACT 2007 - SECT 717
Definitions for ch 9717 Definitions for ch 9
In this chapter—
"authorised action or document" means an action done or a document made or
kept under a previous provision.
"corresponding provision" means a provision of this Act that is substantially
the same as a previous provision.
"made" includes given and issued.
"obligation" includes duty.
"previous" , in relation to a stated provision that includes a number, means
the provision of the Legal Profession Act 2004 with that number immediately
before the repeal of the Legal Profession Act 2004 .
"previous provision" means a provision of the Legal Profession Act 2004 as in
force immediately before the commencement of this section.
"protection" includes a statement that—
(a) there is no liability; and
(b) there is no invalidity; and
(c) a person has an entitlement.
