LEGAL PROFESSION ACT 2007 - SECT 297
Report about law practice
297 Report about law practice
(1) The commissioner may, by written notice, ask the law society to give to
the commissioner a report about a law practice’s compliance with this part.
(2) The report must be prepared from relevant information in the law
society’s possession.
(3) If the commissioner makes a request under
subsection (1) , the law society must comply with the request and give the
report to the commissioner by the day stated in the notice for that purpose.
