(1) A regulation may be made in relation to any matter mentioned in
section 231(2) or (3) for which administration rules may be made.
(2) A
provision of a regulatory authority’s administration rules does not have
effect to the extent that it is inconsistent with this Act, a regulation or
legal profession rules relevant to the authority.
(3) Despite another Act,
administration rules can not provide that a contravention of the rules—
(a)
is an offence; or
(b) is capable of constituting unsatisfactory professional
conduct or professional misconduct.
