Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) This section applies if an action in relation to any description of civil liability arising out of the business of practising as an Australian legal practitioner is before a court and any person who may be made liable in that action is indemnified under a contract of insurance under a relevant law.
(2) If, apart from this section, the action may be heard and decided by a jury in that court, the action must be heard and decided by a judge without a jury.
