Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated ActsUpon a vacancy in the office of a member of a coordinating and advisory committee before the expiration by effluxion of time of the member's term of appointment or at any time during the term of appointment of a member of a committee another person may be appointed in the manner prescribed by section 14(2) to be a member of the committee--
(a) in the case of a vacancy--for the balance of the term of appointment of the member in whose office the vacancy has occurred; and
(b) in any other case--during the absence or incapacity of the member for whom the person is appointed as a substitute.
