Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) A resolution made by an Aboriginal council mentioned in schedule 3, column 1 that immediately before the commencement had an ongoing operation or effect is taken to be a resolution properly made under the Local Government Act 1993, or this Act, by the local government mentioned in schedule 3, column 2 shown opposite the Aboriginal council.
(2) However, a resolution mentioned in subsection (1) authorising the payment or provision of remuneration to a councillor of an Aboriginal council stops having effect at the end of 30 June 2005.
