LOCAL GOVERNMENT (CHINATOWN AND THE VALLEY MALLS) ACT 1984 - SECT 6

Notwithstanding any other provision of law, a a person must not do either of the following--

(a) drive or ride or permit another person to drive or ride a vehicle or working beast on any part of a mall;

(b) suffer a vehicle or working beast, of the use of which the person has control, to be on any part of a mall;

except, in either case, pursuant to and in accordance with a notification given or permit issued by or on behalf of the council pursuant to this Act.

Maximum penalty--6 penalty units.
