Appeals against disciplinary action
289 Appeals against disciplinary action
(1) This section applies to a disciplinary appeal started by a
local government employee under the 1993 Act , section 1158 , but not decided
before the commencement.
(2) A
"disciplinary appeal" was, under the 1993 Act , an appeal to the appeal
tribunal in relation to disciplinary action taken against a local government
employee.
(3) Chapter 16 , part 6 of the 1993 Act continues to apply to the
appeal as if the provisions had not been repealed.
