Where fines are to be paid to
246 Where fines are to be paid to
(1) This section applies if, in proceedings brought by a local government for
an offence against a Local Government Act , the court imposes a fine.
(2) The
fine must be paid to the local government’s operating fund, unless the court
ordered the fine to be paid to a person.
(3) In this section, a reference to
a local government includes a reference to a joint local government.
