Appointment of chairperson and casual commissioners
180 Appointment of chairperson and casual commissioners
(1) The Governor in Council may appoint a person to be the chairperson of the
remuneration commission.
(2) The Governor in Council may appoint— (a) a
person to be a casual commissioner of the remuneration commission; and
(b)
the number of casual commissioners the Governor in Council considers
appropriate.
(3) The Minister may recommend the appointment of a person as a
commissioner only if the person is qualified under section 181 to be a
commissioner.
