LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1993 - SECT 31

31 Inconsistency with State law

(1) If a State law and a local law (whether made before or after the State law) are inconsistent, the State law prevails over the local law to the extent of the inconsistency.

(2) Subsection (1) does not affect section 1193D.
