LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1993 - SECT 224A
224A Councillor ceases to be councillor on becoming candidate for the Legislative Assembly
A councillor ceases to be a councillor if under the Electoral Act 1992,
section 88(3), the councillor becomes a candidate for an election as a member
of the Legislative Assembly.
