LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1993 - SECT 20

In exercising its jurisdiction of local government, a local government has--

(a) a law-making role for local laws; and

(b) an executive role for--

(i) adoption and implementation of policy; and

(ii) administration of local government; and

(iii) enforcement of its local laws.
