Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) The Governor in Council may, by regulation, declare that a local law or subordinate local law, or a provision of a local law or subordinate local law, ceases to have effect, if the Governor in Council is of the opinion that it is necessary to make the declaration to protect State interests.
(2) The Governor in Council may, by regulation, later declare that the local law, subordinate local law or provision again has effect, if the Governor in Council is of the opinion that it is no longer necessary for the declaration under subsection (1) to continue to have effect to protect State interests.
