Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) A regulation (a transitional regulation) may make provision of a saving or transitional nature for the operation of this Act in relation to a new local government or an adjusted local government if this Act does not make provision or sufficient provision.
(2) A transitional regulation may have retrospective operation to a day not earlier than the changeover day.
(3) A transitional regulation must declare it is a transitional regulation.
