Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) A provision of a local government Act requiring a document given to any person to contain or be accompanied by a statement of any relevant provision of law is taken to be complied with despite the absence of the statement if--
(a) the document is served in a way permitted by section 1108; and
(b) subsection (2) is complied with.
(2) A document served in circumstances mentioned in subsection (1) must contain a statement to the effect that particulars of the relevant provision of law may be obtained, free of charge, on application to the local government.
