LIQUOR ACT 1992 - SECT 34

34 Arranging the hearing of appeal

(1) An appeal to the tribunal against a decision of the chief executive is by a rehearing on the evidence that was before the chief executive.

(2) Within 2 months after a notice of appeal is filed with the director, the appeal must be set down for hearing.

(3) At least 3 days before the hearing of the appeal is to start, the director must give written notice of the time and place of the hearing to the following persons--

(a) the appellant;
(b) the chief executive;
(c) as far as is practicable--each person whose name and address have been given to the director under section 33.
