JUDICIAL REVIEW ACT 1991 - SECT 29

(1) The making of an application to the court under section 20 in relation to a decision does not--

(a) affect the operation of the decision; or

(b) prevent the taking of action to implement the decision.

(2) Despite subsection (1), the court or a judge--

(a) may, by order, suspend the operation of the decision; and

(b) may order a stay of any proceeding under the decision.

(3) The court or judge may make the order--

(a) of the court's or judge's own motion; or

(b) on the application of the person who made the application.
