Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated ActsA Childrens Court judge has jurisdiction--
(a) to hear and determine under division 7 a charge against a child for an offence; and
(b) to delegate sentencing power to a Childrens Court magistrate under section 185; and
(c) to review under section 118 a sentence order imposed by a Childrens Court magistrate; and
(d) to hear bail applications under section 59; and
(e) to order the transfer of a person to a prison under section 270; and
(f) to perform other functions and exercise other powers conferred on the judge under this Act.
