Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) An employer must, if it is appropriate to the employer's industry and the calling or callings of the employer's employees, structure the employees' wages in a way that encourages the development of the employees' skills.
(2) If, after completing an apprenticeship in a trade, an employee works in the trade, the employee must be paid at least the minimum rate payable under the award or federal award applying to the trade.
