Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) A member of an organisation may resign from membership of the organisation under this section or the organisation's rules.
(2) The person's membership ends if the person gives the organisation a notice stating the person resigns from the organisation.
(3) The person's membership ends—
(a) if the notice states a day or time after the notice is given when the resignation takes effect, on the day or time; or
(b) otherwise, when the notice is given.
