Queensland Consolidated Acts Queensland Consolidated Acts(1) An employee and employer may agree that the employee break the period of parental leave by returning to work for the employer, whether on a full-time, part-time or casual basis.
(2) The period of parental leave can not be extended by the return to work beyond the total period allowed under section 18.
