117 Examining witnesses
(1) The information commissioner may administer an oath or affirmation to a
person required under section 116to attend before the commissioner and may
examine the person on oath or affirmation.
(2) The oath or affirmation to be
taken or made by a person for the purposes of this section is an oath or
affirmation that the answers the person will give will be true.
Note—
A
person must not give false or misleading information—see section 186.
